About Us
We are a big haired poet who is haunted by the food instability crisis in the world and a dedicated band of kindred souls just trying to make the world a more interesting and less hungry place through poetry.
Kim M. Baker, Publisher
When she isn’t teaching the abundant virtues of the comma at Roger Williams University School of Law, writing poetry about big hair and Elvis, and doing the Cha Cha, Kim works to end hunger and to end violence against women. Her poems have been widely published online and in print and essays broadcast on NPR. Kim's play A Day in the Life of a Recovering Nine Year Old was staged at Driftwood Players theater in Edmonds WA in the summer of 2014. Kim’s chapbook of poetry, Under the Influence: Musings about Poems and Paintings, is available from Finishing Line Press at https://www.finishinglinepress.com/product_info.php?cPath=4&products_id=1606. Kim is currently working on a book of ekphrasis poems about the stories and portrayals of women in the paintings of female artists. Kim can be reached at [email protected].
